Bio

I grew up in Wisconsin and attended college in western Pennsylvania. Majored in music history & piano performance. After college, I moved to South Korea, where I taught English to elementary, middle, and high-school students. After a year in SK, I moved to Minnesota and worked as a technical writer for an IT consulting firm for 6 years (very good move, as I met my husband at my new job!). Quit my job after 6 years, went to grad school, earned an M.A. in English as a Second Language (ESL), taught for 2 years at a university in the southern US, and then got transferred to Thailand. That's where I am for now.
